These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in Falkonry Inc.’s (“Falkonry”) Boot Camp Certifications, including the Specialist Level Certification and Professional Level Certification (collectively, the “Bootcamp”). By registering for the Bootcamp, you acknowledge that you (the “Participant”) have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, including any future updates.
Falkonry currently offers two certification levels, subject to change at Falkonry’s sole discretion without notice to the Participant:
This level is designed for participants seeking to build foundational skills in time series intelligence including connecting to data sources, automated processing and producing alerts.
This level is designed for participants seeking to apply domain expertise to establish calculations and decision criteria, develop models of anomaly detection and pattern recognition, develop analytics strategy which culminates in a final analytics solution project. The Bootcamp may be offered in either live virtual or live in-class format.
Registration will be confirmed only upon receipt of full payment of any applicable fees. Access to training, tools, and certification will be granted exclusively to Participant only. Falkonry reserves the right to deny or revoke registration in cases of non-compliance or non-payment. Participant is responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection and a compatible device capable of accessing the training platform. Falkonry is not liable for any connectivity issues, hardware limitations, or other technical issues on Participant’s end.
In consideration of your participation in and access to the Bootcamp, Participant agrees to pay the applicable fees. Full payment of fees is required at the time of registration. Falkonry reserves the right to revise the fees at any time. However, fees are locked once payment is received and Participant will not be responsible for excess fees or entitled to partial refunds. All payments are non-transferable and processed in USD (foreign exchange and bank fees borne by participants).
All registrations are final. No cancellations or refunds will be granted for reasons including, but not limited to, non-attendance, scheduling conflicts, dissatisfaction, or change of mind. For Falkonry-initiated cancellations, Participant will be offered either a full refund or a transfer to a future session. In exceptional cases, Falkonry may permit a transfer to another participant or session, at its sole discretion with at least five (5) business days prior written request. Falkonry reserves the right to cancel a Participant’s registration or participation at any time, with or without cause. In such cases, Falkonry will notify the Participant and issue a refund within five (5) business days.
Certification will be awarded to the Participant upon full attendance and successful completion of all required assessments. For both levels, a minimum cumulative score of 80% on certification assessment is required to complete the certification. Participant must complete their assessments within the allowed timeframe. Any exam extensions may be granted at Falkonry’s sole discretion, upon written request. The assessment criteria, including all assessment materials, test questions and any content included therein, are the Confidential Information of Falkonry. Participant must not reproduce, copy, transmit, distribute, make derivative works, disclose or share such Confidential Information with any individual or entity. The assessment criteria are subject to change at Fakonry’s sole discretion and any updates will be communicated to the Participant during the session. Assessments retakes are not permitted. However, Falkonry may consider additional retakes at its sole discretion, subject to written request and additional fees. Participant grants Falkonry the right to publicize their certification status, including name, company, and title.
Participant is expected to maintain a high standard of professionalism and integrity throughout the Bootcamp, including during certification assessment. This includes respectful behavior toward instructors, fellow participants, and the overall learning environment. Falkonry reserves the right to revoke access to the Bootcamp, deny certification, or expel any Participant—without refund—for conduct that is deemed disruptive, unethical, inappropriate, or in breach of these Terms.
All materials, content, documentation, and tools provided during the Bootcamp are the exclusive intellectual property of Falkonry. Access to proprietary systems and tools is granted on a time-limited, non-commercial basis, exclusively to the Participant. Participant may not share, or allow others to access their assigned credentials under any circumstance. Participant will strictly keep a personal copy of Bootcamp materials and is prohibited from copying, reproducing, distributing, or sharing any portion of the training materials or system access. Participant is not permitted to back up, export, or retain any work done or data uploaded during the course of the Bootcamp. All resources are intended solely for the Participant’s use during the Bootcamp, for training and certification purposes. Participant does not acquire any ownership rights to models, systems, or intellectual outputs used or generated during the Bootcamp. Falkonry retains all rights to content generated or used within the training environment. Nothing in the Bootcamp or these Terms shall be construed as granting, by implication or otherwise, any license or right to use, reproduce, or transfer any of Falkonry’s intellectual property, trademarks, or proprietary technology. Any unauthorized use, sharing, reproduction, or distribution of Falkonry’s proprietary materials, content, or systems will constitute a material breach of these Terms. Upon such breach, Falkonry reserves the right to immediately revoke access, withhold certification, and expel the participant from the Bootcamp without refund. Falkonry further reserves the right to pursue legal remedies available under applicable intellectual property and contract laws, including but not limited to injunctive relief and claims for damages.
By registering for the Bootcamp, Participant acknowledges and agrees that Falkonry will collect and use certain personal information, including name, email address, organization, and location. This information is used to manage registration, provide access to training content, issue certification, conduct surveys & usage analysis, communicate operational updates, and include certified participants in Falkonry’s marketing & alumni outreach. Participant data is stored and processed in accordance with Falkonry’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
The certification, training, tools, and any associated materials provided by Falkonry as part of the Bootcamp are provided strictly ‘as is’, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. Falkonry makes no representations regarding the completeness, accuracy, or suitability of the Bootcamp, and specifically disclaims all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and any guarantees of specific outcomes, results, or employment opportunities resulting from participation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Falkonry shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages—including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or opportunities—arising from participation in the Bootcamp or from these Terms. Falkonry shall also not be responsible for any delays or disruptions caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
These Terms shall be governed by California law without regard to conflict of law principles. Participant consents to the exclusive jurisdiction of state and federal courts in Santa Clara County, California. Participation is prohibited for individuals subject to comprehensive U.S. government sanctions or restricted party lists. By registering, you warrant that you are not subject to such restrictions. Falkonry reserves the right to terminate access without notice or refund for any violations.
Falkonry reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time, at its sole discretion. The “Last Updated” date will reflect the most recent revision. Unless stated otherwise, all modifications take effect as of the updated date. Continued participation in the Bootcamp after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
